Tabletop
All plates, cups, bowls, and mugs are food and dishwasher safe unless otherwise noted. We recommend handwashing large or irregularly-shaped serveware. Your tableware may develop a patina over time—we think this adds to the beauty of the handmade pieces, but understand it may bother you—if it does, gently scrubbing with Bar Keeper’s friend should remove all cutlery marks.

We do not recommend putting handmade ceramics in the microwave; none of the metallic glazes are microwave safe.

Rakuware
Due to it's porous nature Rakuware is not food safe and will not hold water; wipe surfaces with a damp cloth.

Wood-fired pieces
Hand-washing recommended.

Kintsugi-repaired pieces
Hand-washing recommended.
